Is breakfast included in the chalet rental?
Breakfast is not included, but we offer you the opportunity to turn your mornings into a truly enjoyable experience. On request, a butler can take care of your shopping and prepare a breakfast worthy of a luxury hotel: espresso coffee, freshly squeezed juices, scrambled eggs... With a view of Mont Blanc, you can start the day as if you were in a five-star hotel, in the privacy of your own chalet.
What is the capacity of Chalet les Cerises?
Les Cerises Chalet & Spa can comfortably accommodate up to ten people. Our four suites offer the ideal space for eight adults, with an additional bed in the sleeping alcove that children love. The Mont-Blanc suite also offers additional sleeping space for even more flexibility. Just one hour from Geneva Cointrin (GVA), it is the perfect retreat for an exclusive stay with friends or family.
Do you offer half board or full board?
Absolutely. We work with Swiss and French private chefs who can cook on site, whether you want half board or full board. Gourmet, vegetarian, vegan, kosher, halal or gluten-free cuisine: each menu is tailored to your desires. Enjoy the comfort of hotel service, in the privacy of a luxury chalet just for you.
Does the chalet have a garden and a panoramic view?
Yes, and that's one of its greatest assets! From every room in the chalet, you can enjoy an exceptional panoramic view of Mont Blanc. The terrace and garden extend this experience in the heart of nature, allowing you to admire the mountain range in all seasons. Cordon lives up to its nickname, ‘the balcony of Mont Blanc’.

Is the chalet suitable for people with reduced mobility?
The chalet has a few steps at the entrance and the doors are standard width, which can make wheelchair access difficult. However, once inside, the entire ground floor is on one level, allowing you to enjoy the living areas in comfort. If necessary, we can recommend specialised transport services from Geneva, Nyon, Morges, Lausanne, Yverdon-les-Bains, Montreux or Fribourg to make your stay easier.
What security measures are in place?
Your safety is our priority. The chalet is equipped with smoke and COâ‚‚ detectors on each floor, as well as fire extinguishers strategically placed both inside and outside near the brazier. A comprehensive system, worthy of the finest luxury hotels, to ensure you enjoy a peaceful stay in the heart of the Alps.
Are there any rules regarding noise or noise pollution?
The chalet enjoys a peaceful setting with no neighbours opposite, ideal for recharging your batteries. We simply ask that you respect the rules of good neighbourliness, such as keeping the volume down after 10 p.m., in order to preserve the peace and quiet of the area.
Are there any specific restrictions at the chalet?
Just one: fireworks. Although they are tolerated in French-speaking Switzerland, French regulations prohibit them without official authorisation. To ensure everyone's safety and peace of mind, we ask you to respect this rule, otherwise your stay will be cancelled immediately.
How can I contact the owner of Chalet & Spa les Cerises if necessary?
We are based just 15 minutes from the chalet, next to Megève, which allows us to respond quickly if necessary. If you have any questions or unexpected issues arise, simply give us a call or send us a message: we know every detail of the chalet and can always find an effective solution.
How many toilets are available?
The chalet has three high-end Japanese-style toilets, located on each floor and adjoining the suites. This is a rare technological comfort in the mountains.
Can I have my shopping delivered before I arrive at Chalet & Spa les Cerises?
Absolutely! We offer a complimentary service to prepare your shopping before your arrival. Simply place your order online via Drive and we will take care of everything: collection, storage and organisation. When you arrive from Geneva, Montreux or Lausanne, the fridge will already be stocked and your provisions ready. All you have to do is enjoy your stay without any worries.​​

Spa & Facilities
Can I use the spa at Chalet & Spa les Cerises without staying there?
The spa is reserved primarily for guests staying several nights at the chalet. However, during the low season, we occasionally open our facilities (outdoor jacuzzi, sauna, massage room, yoga room) for private wellness days. This is the perfect opportunity to organise a relaxing break with friends, a rejuvenating retreat or a few hours of exclusive relaxation. Reservations required – contact us to create your tailor-made experience.
Does the chalet have a jacuzzi or spa area?
Yes, our entire chalet is dedicated to well-being. The heated outdoor jacuzzi, facing Mont Blanc, invites you to relax completely in any season. You can also enjoy a Finnish sauna with panoramic views, or book a personalised massage. On the ground floor, our wellness area offers reflexology and Tui Na sessions, as well as sound journeys with Tibetan bowls. Private yoga classes are also available for an exclusive moment of rejuvenation.
Can I work remotely from the chalet in good conditions?
Absolutely! The chalet has three areas dedicated to remote working.

High-speed Wi-Fi covers the entire chalet and terrace. You can work in optimal comfort during your stay at the ‘balcony of Mont Blanc’. And as the chalet is very close to Geneva via the motorway, you can even make a quick return trip to attend a last-minute meeting.
Is there a bar at Chalet & Spa les Cerises?
Yes, there are several options available to you. The salon's alcoholic beverages are available and an ‘honesty bar’ completes the experience. Outside, a garden bar allows you to prepare your own cocktails facing Mont Blanc, or even call on a professional mixologist.
Is the chalet air-conditioned?
At an altitude of 950 metres, air conditioning is unnecessary. Even in summer, the nights remain cool and pleasant, with temperatures rarely exceeding 18°C. A gentle natural breeze provides ventilation, and the good news is that there are no mosquitoes at this altitude!
Is there a fireplace or wood-burning stove?
Yes! The chalet has an elegant central fireplace between the kitchen and the living room, ideal for your cosy evenings. In the master suite, a wood-burning stove creates a warm atmosphere with a direct view of Mont Blanc. Wood and firelighters are provided, for a cosy comfort worthy of the finest establishments on the Lake Geneva Riviera.
Does the chalet have leisure or sports facilities?
Absolutely! Les Cerises chalet & spa offers much more than just a place to stay. Guests can enjoy a private cinema room, a massage parlour, a space dedicated to yoga and sound therapy, as well as private steam rooms in two suites. Outside, a panoramic jacuzzi, sauna facing the highest peaks of the Alps, pétanque court and summer bar extend the experience. A fitness room and an ice-cold Nordic bath will soon complete these exclusive amenities.
Which television channels and streaming services are available at Chalet & Spa les Cerises?
Each television and the 4K projector are equipped with Apple TV with direct access to Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Canal+, Apple TV+, Molotov and TF1+. A large video library is also available, and we can activate VOD if you wish. Many Swiss radio stations are accessible via DAB+.
Is there access to the internet and television?
Yes, you can enjoy fast Starlink connectivity (240 Mb/s) with WiFi throughout the chalet and garden. Fibre optic broadband will be available soon. 4K televisions and projectors also offer access to major streaming services.
Is the chalet kitchen fully equipped for preparing your meals?
Absolutely. The kitchen is equipped with Miele appliances worthy of a professional chef: wine cellar, slow cooker, vacuum sealer... Everything you need to prepare Alpine specialities (fondue, raclette, pierrade) as well as healthy, contemporary cuisine (juicer, blender, dehydrator). True culinary comfort, just 1 hour from Geneva, 1.5 hours from Lausanne and 2 hours from Montreux.

What payment methods are accepted for booking your stay at the chalet?
We prioritise flexibility: credit cards for immediate confirmation, bank transfers for greater peace of mind, cheques for those who prefer traditional methods... and even most cryptocurrencies thanks to our partner Swapin. Whether you are from French-speaking Switzerland or elsewhere, you will find the most convenient option to secure your booking.
Is it possible to book just a room at Chalet & Spa les Cerises?
Our chalet is not available for individual rooms; it is rented exclusively in its entirety. This is what makes it such a unique place: couples, families or groups of friends can enjoy much more space than in a traditional hotel, with the added advantage of having complete privacy and access to all the private facilities – jacuzzi, steam rooms, sauna, cinema room and spa. You are guaranteed an exclusive and completely personalised stay.
Do you offer special terms for agencies or tourism professionals?
Our rates remain standardised across all distribution channels to ensure transparency and consistency. However, we attach great importance to partnerships with tourism professionals. If you are an agency based in Geneva, Lausanne, Neuchâtel or elsewhere in French-speaking Switzerland, please contact us directly: we will be happy to discuss terms and conditions tailored to your projects and collaborations.
Do you offer preferential rates for long stays or seasonal rentals?
Yes, we offer advantageous terms for extended stays or rentals of several weeks, or even for an entire season. If you are based in French-speaking Switzerland and are looking to escape big cities like Geneva or Lausanne to recharge your batteries in the mountains at the weekend, please do not hesitate to share your requirements with us. We will be delighted to provide you with a tailor-made offer so that you can enjoy Chalet & Spa les Cerises for as long as possible.
Do you require a deposit for renting Chalet & Spa les Cerises?
Yes, a deposit of €3,000 is required. This is simply a bank pre-authorisation, just like when you hire a car. No actual debit is made and this deposit is automatically released 14 days after your stay.
What is the cancellation policy?
For your peace of mind, we offer free cancellation up to 90 days before arrival. After this period, the 25% deposit is non-refundable, and the balance is payable 60 days before your stay. For our guests coming from Switzerland (Geneva, Lausanne, Montreux, etc.), we are flexible in the event of unforeseen circumstances related to transport or border crossings, so that your stay remains hassle-free.
Can events or receptions be organised at Chalet & Spa les Cerises?
Absolutely! Our exceptional chalet is perfect for premium events: intimate weddings facing Mont Blanc, sophisticated hen parties, romantic mini-moons, private seminars, spiritual retreats, photo shoots or film shoots. Its proximity to Geneva Cointrin (GVA) makes it an ideal place to bring your loved ones or colleagues together in a unique setting. Skiing
Is the chalet well located for accessing ski resorts from Switzerland?
Yes, its location is ideal! From the chalet, you can reach the Cordon resort in just a few minutes thanks to a shuttle bus that stops right outside. For larger ski areas, a private taxi service can take you to the ‘Portes du Mont-Blanc’ (Megève, Combloux, Saint-Gervais, Les Contamines, La Giettaz, Saint-Nicolas de Véroce) in 15 minutes. And if you want to vary your pleasures or extend the season, internationally renowned resorts such as Chamonix, Avoriaz, Flaine and Les Saisies are less than an hour away. Just 50 km from Geneva, it is the perfect address for a weekend skiing or a full week in the heart of the Alps.
Is there a shuttle service to the ski resorts?
Absolutely! A free shuttle stops right outside Les Cerises chalet & spa and takes you to the Cordon slopes in just a few minutes. To reach the larger neighbouring ski areas such as Megève, Combloux or Saint-Gervais, we can also arrange a private shuttle service on request.
Do you have space to store ski equipment?
Even better than a simple locker! Les Cerises chalet & spa has a private ski room located right next to the covered car parks. Here you will find heated racks for your ski boots and all the amenities you need to store your equipment after a day on the slopes. A real luxury for enjoying nearby resorts such as Megève or Combloux, just a few minutes away from the chalet.
Can I hire ski or snowboard equipment near the chalet?
Of course! Two shops located a few minutes' walk from the chalet offer ski hire. For a wider choice — snowboards, sledges or snowshoes — you'll find everything you need in Combloux, just a few minutes' drive away. Ideal for making the most of the snow, while remaining only an hour from Geneva.
At what altitude is Chalet & Spa les Cerises located?
The chalet is located at an altitude of 950 metres, an ideal location for families with children and perfectly suited to those who are sensitive to high altitudes. You can enjoy an authentic alpine setting without the drawbacks of higher resorts: less snow clearance, more accessible roads and pleasantly cool nights in summer. For winter sports enthusiasts, there's no need to worry: the slopes of Megève take you up to 2,350 metres.
What outdoor activities are available around Chalet & Spa les Cerises?
From the chalet, you have direct access to a wide range of alpine activities: ski touring, snowshoeing, mountain biking, climbing, paragliding, rafting, canyoning, canoeing, fly fishing and even dog sledding. In summer and winter alike, the Mont Blanc massif is a veritable open-air playground. Arrival & Departure
How is the arrival at the chalet going?
Upon your arrival, Laurent — the owner — will welcome you in person to show you around the chalet and its amenities. If you are travelling from Geneva or Lausanne and arrive in the evening, no worries: a secure key box will allow you to easily access the chalet on your own.
What are the arrival and departure times?
Check-in is available from 5 p.m. However, if cleaning is finished earlier, we will be happy to welcome you sooner. Check-out is at 11 a.m., so that we can prepare the chalet for our next guests. After a stay facing Mont Blanc, the hardest part will be... leaving!
Will I find basic supplies in the kitchen upon arrival?
Yes, the kitchen is already equipped with everything you need: salt, pepper, spices, oil, Nespresso capsules and handy jars. The tap water is also excellent, pure and fresh. And for even more convenience, you can send us your shopping list in advance: we will have it delivered and put away before your arrival. So when you arrive from Geneva, Montreux or Lausanne, everything will be ready for you to enjoy your holiday straight away.

Rooms
Are the beds separable?
Yes, most of our beds can be configured as twin beds, accommodating up to eight individual beds and one double bed.Only the Warens Suite has a fixed king-size bed. Simply let us know your preferences before you arrive, and we will prepare the rooms accordingly.
Do you offer several types of pillows?
Yes, for a tailor-made sleep experience, we provide two types of pillows in each room: a square, rather flat model and a rectangular, more plump pillow. This allows you to choose the comfort that suits you best after a day spent in the mountains of the Mont Blanc range.
Is household linen provided?
Yes, everything will be ready upon your arrival: the beds will be made and each guest will have a bathrobe, a bath toweland a hand towel. On request, we can change the linen during your stay (at an additional cost). In keeping with our eco-friendly approach, we do not provide disposable slippers. We therefore recommend that you bring a pair of beach sandals so that you can relax in comfort by the jacuzzi.
Do you provide soap and shampoo?
No need to pack your bags! Each suite in the chalet is equipped with high-end Hermès products from the Eau d'Orange Verte collection: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and moisturising lotion. You will enjoy a refined experience worthy of the finest 5-star hotels in Geneva or Lausanne, but in the warm intimacy of our chalet with its private spa facing the majestic Mont Blanc.

Is cleaning included in the rental price?
Yes, end-of-stay cleaning is included: after you leave, our team spends around 15 hours preparing the chalet for the next guests. If you would like a daily cleaning service, this can be added at an extra cost for even greater convenience. When you return, all you need to do is empty the bins and avoid leaving dirty dishes.
Do you offer a concierge service?
Absolutely! Whether you are coming from Geneva, Neufchâtel or elsewhere, we are available before and during your stay to help you organise every detail. Exceptional restaurants, sporting activities or cultural outings: we will be delighted to share our favourite local spots and open the doors to the most wonderful experiences in Haute-Savoie.
Is it possible to have a meal delivered or hire a private chef?
With pleasure! We can organise a typical Savoyard meal for you — raclette, fondue or tartiflette — in the friendly atmosphere of the chalet. For a more refined experience, we also work with French and Swiss private chefs who come to Cordon to prepare gourmet menus tailored to your desires (including vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free options). When it comes to meal delivery, keep in mind that our mountain hamlet favours authenticity: here, there's no UberEats or Deliveroo, but local products and carefully selected restaurants.
What restaurants and shops are located near the chalet?
The centre of the village of Cordon, just 800 metres away, has a mini-market, a local grocery store, a bakery, two bars and a few local shops. Just 300 metres away, you can enjoy your first meals at the restaurant. For those who wish to discover Savoyard cuisine and the best places to eat around Megève or Combloux — just a 15-minute drive away — we provide a welcome booklet with our exclusive recommendations. A great opportunity to sample local Savoyard cuisine during your holiday.

Transport
Do I need a car during my stay at Chalet & spa les Cerises?
We recommend coming by car or hiring one so that you can fully enjoy the surrounding area. However, if you arrive by train in Sallanches or would like us to pick you up from Geneva Cointrin Airport (GVA), we can arrange a private transfer to the chalet. A chauffeur service is also available on site for trips to Megève, Combloux or neighbouring resorts.
Does the chalet have parking?
Yes, the chalet has four private parking spaces, two of which are covered. If you are arriving with several vehicles, there is a spacious free car park in the village centre, just a few minutes away.
Can I charge my electric car at the chalet?
Yes, a 22 kW fast charging station is available directly under the covered car parks of the Chalet & Spa les Cerises. For a second vehicle, you will also find a public charging station in the centre of the village of Cordon, which is convenient and easy to access.
How to get to Chalet & Spa les Cerises from Geneva or Lausanne?
The chalet is very easy to reach from French-speaking Switzerland:

By car: take the A40 motorway, exit at Sallanches, then take the Cordon road (6 km). Allow approximately 1h from Geneva, 1h15 from Nyon, 1h30 from Morges or Lausanne, 1h45 from Yverdon-les-Bains, 2h from Montreux, 2h15 from Fribourg and 4h from Neufchâtel.

By train: from Switzerland, the SBB serves Sallanches/Combloux/Megève station, which is 15 minutes from the chalet.

By plane, if you are coming from abroad: Geneva Cointrin GVA International Airport is only 60 km away. We can arrange a private transfer from Cointrin for a comfortable journey to Chalet les Cerises.

Are there any games available for children at chalet les Cerises?
Yes, we provide a few board games, but to be on the safe side, we recommend bringing your favourites. For older children, the chalet is equipped with two Xbox consoles, a PlayStation 5 and a PlayStation 4 with access to hundreds of online games. Enough to keep young and old entertained after a day in the mountains.
Do you have cots and high chairs available?
Yes, we provide a travel cot and a high chair so that your children can be as comfortable as you are. Whether you are coming from Geneva, Lausanne or elsewhere in French-speaking Switzerland, your little ones will be welcomed in the best conditions for a successful family holiday.
Do you offer childcare solutions?
Yes, we work with several trusted nannies, ideal if you want to enjoy an evening out with peace of mind. It is also possible to arrange for your children to be accompanied to the snow garden while you ski. You can come with peace of mind, knowing that your little ones will be well looked after.

Pets
Are pets allowed at the chalet?
Yes, we welcome your four-legged friends, up to a maximum of two dogs (subject to prior agreement). However, the chalet is not suitable for cats. A small additional charge may be applied for cleaning to ensure optimal comfort for all our guests. From Geneva, Lausanne or anywhere in Switzerland, you can come and enjoy the mountains without leaving your faithful companions behind.
